Description: “Black Panther” offers connecting rods in I beam section in normal or fractured split according to engineering specification used by OEM’s.

Our partner factory has in house Forge shop, die and tools design and development facilities and own finishing machines to offer a complete package of total quality control, cost effective parts, quick deliveries and aggressive new product development.

“Black Panther” are a world class accredited tier 2 OE supplier of finished connecting rods to the automotive vehicle and power train manufacturers.

Capacity: Weight 0.500 Kg to 10 Kgs

Raw Materials: The connecting rods are mostly made from virgin crack free fully tested steel grades EN8D, SAE8620, EN15, 42CrMo4, C70, 40Cr1, 20MnCr5, EN19 and Aluminum alloys.

Resultant quality of connecting rods is greatly determined by the quality of inputs. The raw material is sourced from best available steel Giants in India. The current raw material suppliers are:

Forging Facilities: Connecting rods are forged in our partner factory's own forge shops by closed die method having following facilities:

Ø  4-Belt Drop Hammers of 0.75 Ton, 1.0 Ton, 1.5 Ton and 2.5 Ton of capacity

Ø  Shearing Machines

Ø  Coining Machines

Ø  Power Press

Ø  Shot Blasting Machine (250 Kg Capacity)

Heat Treatment: Normalizing, Quenching and Tempering - these are currently done outside from quality vendors.

Our partner factory has amalgamation of High Tech, special purpose and conventional machines that are able to machine and finish raw steel forged connecting rods with a capacity of half million connecting rods per annum.

Ø  Crack detection of forged connecting rods

Ø  Hardness, Weight, Micro structure and size checking of forged connecting rods

Ø  In process size checking at end of each machining operation

Ø  Final size checking before packing

Ø  100% checking for visual defects, weight, small end/big end and CTC dimensions.
